Blackpink’s ‘Boombayah’ Draws over 1.4 Billion Views on YouTube

The music video for girl group Blackpink’s “Boombayah” has surpassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube.

The feat came some five years and eight months after its release in August 2016.

Blackpink now boasts 32 music videos with more than 100 million views on YouTube. Of these, six have attracted more than 1 billion clicks.

The video for their catchy song “Ddu-du Ddu-du” has garnered over 1.8 billion views, making it the most watched K-pop music video on the video-sharing website, and another of their hit songs, “Kill This Love,” is on track to surpass 1.6 billion views.

In a testament to their global popularity, Blackpink’s YouTube channel has more than 73.6 million subscribers — more than any other pop act worldwide.
