The K-Pop mega band BTS has finally confirmed their Map of the Soul World Tour, their fourth world tour, staring in April through June. They are going to touch down in 17 cities for over three dozen shows. The septet will play stadiums in Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando, New Jersey, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. On May 17, Georgia Tech Bobby Dodd Stadium will be swarmed with K-Pop lovers including the members of BTS’ fan group, alias ARMY.

Will this May be the first time that the fabulous group comes to Atlanta? It appears that the group’s last visit to Atlanta was in 2015 at the visibly smaller Center Stage and fan pandemonium ensued, even then. Although BTS did come to Atlanta before, fans say the show was poorly managed and look forward to see a more comfortable BTS.

Unquestionably, BTS will send their fans into a frenzy throughout the world tour and their home country of South Korea will be the springboard for their long-term performances. The group is slated to take over Seoul’s Olympic Stadium for four nights.

How many lucky BTS fans will get to see them in Atlanta in 2020? If all tickets would be sold out, that would be an answer. Ticket demand for BTS has always been huge, even on their first world tour. Tickets for their US shows will go on sale through Live Nation on February 7. Get more info about presale at http://www.ticketmaster.com/bts for registration.

Meanwhile, BTS hit the red carpet in coordinated looks on Jan. 26 at the 2020 Grammy Awards where they burned bright during their all-too-brief performance.. BTS lent their talents to a star-studded performance of “Old Town Road.” This undefeatable group’s performance at the Grammy this year was an incremental step forward. The seven-strong boy group will continue to make inroads with Western audiences. All in all, Atlanta should be a touch stone for BTS to move forward. The frenzy at the 2020 Grammy Awards will rev up in Atlanta. Stay tuned!
