Kia Motors America (KMA) continues to march forward this year and the All-New 2019 Forte served as a springboard by hosting its global debut at the North American International auto show in the middle of January.
The Forte, which offers drivers a higher level of comfort, fuel efficiency, and advanced driver assistance technologies that are aimed to make the journey a more rewarding and decidedly an upscale experience, has evolved with a line of visual and feature enhancements inside and out.
The attendees at the auto show were mesmerized by the comfort feature. The cabin is more comfortable and integrates new driver assistance technology. Literally, the all-new 2019 Kia Forte hits the sweet spot.
“The compact sedan segment is highly competitive, but with all the improvements the new Forte brings to market for the 2019 model year, it is more than prepared to take on the toughest the segment has to offer,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, product planning, KMA. “As one of our top-selling models, the all-new Forte follows some large footsteps, but enhancements in styling, packaging and content make it even more attractive to drivers seeking a compact sedan that can accommodate their versatile lifestyle.”
Let us scrutinize this sporty and youthful compact sedan. The Forte levels up with sophisticated design owing to a number of sleek and dynamic styling cues inspired by the Stinger fastback sport sedan. On top of that, the Forte’s muscular appearance and distinctive design traits on the front fascia are attributed to ceases in the hood, including a fresh approach to Kia’s signature tiger nose grille and an aggressive black lower valance. Forte’s long hood and short deck lend it an overall fastback-like shape. Around back, the rear bumper gets the same treatment with separate reverse and turn signal indicators located beneath available LED taillights.
For drivers, whether it is a short commute or for the long haul, a comfortable cabin is a top priority to choose. Creating the fastback shape gave engineers an opportunity to expand the occupant compartment in several key core areas so passengers are treated to a comfortable space no matter how long the journey is.
Last year the Kia Forte was recognized by J.D. Power 2017 Initial Quality Study (IQS) by winning on the category of Compact Car. According to J.D. Power, the annual report analyzed responses from 77,415 respondents with regards to 243 vehicle models across 26 segments. Vehicles were evaluated on driving experience, engine and transmission performance, and a broad range of quality problem symptoms reported by vehicle owners.
All these factors come down to one conclusion: Kia Motors’ craftsmanship is unstoppable and All-New Kia Forte never stops running. This year is no exception.
